The Eagles Plan Hollywood Bowl Dates for April

Plans have been unveiled by The Eagles for a stand of three nights next April at Hollywood Bowl in Southern California. The engagement will mark The Eagles first time performing in the venue.

The three shows are scheduled for April 16, 17 and 20. On December 14, tickets will be be made available to the general public at the box office. Starting on December 7, American Express card holders will have an early chance to buy tickets. All Ticketmaster locations will have tickets available. In addition, iloveallaccess.com will have VIP ticket packages available.

The Eagles, comprised of Joe Walsh, Glenn Frey, Don Henley and Timothy B. Schmit are continuing to back “Long Road Out of Eden” from 2007. When it was released, it marked the first new studio set for the band in 28 years. The album debuted on Billboard’s 200 chart in the No. 1 spot after selling 711,000 copies during its first week. Nielsen SoundScan data revealed the set to be the best selling album from a group in 2007.

In addition “Long Road Out of Eden” earned The Eagles two Grammy Awards. In 2008 “How Long” earned them the award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with vocals. In 2009 “I Dreamed There Was No War” won Best Pop Instrumental Performance.
