The Eagles Tour

Don Henley Working on Country Covers Album

Don Henley, in addition to being on tour with The Eagles, has been hard at work on a country album as well.

The Eagles are set to launch the Asian leg of the “Long Road Out of Eden Tour,” while the founder of the Eagles is reported to be working in a Nashville studio on an album which will be featuring big name guest performers.  It is thought that the album will have a similar style that his 1993 album “Common Thread” had, which featured Eagles songs as country covers and encouraged the Eagles to reunite.

Henley’s solo career apart from the band has been decent and he had a big hit in the 1980s with his song “Boys of Summer.”  He will be the second Eagles band member this year to release a new solo album.  In May Joe Walsh released the first solo album from him in 18 years.
