Tickets Onsale for Additional 1000 Seats for The Eagles Lubbock Texas Show

Approximately 1,000 additional seats in the balconies as well as the sides along the stage are being sold now for the Eagles concert at United Spirit Arena on October 5 at 8 pm.

According to Meredith Craig, arena spokeswoman, sight lines in the newly opened locations should be clear.

Reserved seats cost $76.25, $108.25 and $151.25, including Select-A-Seat varied services charges.  The base ticket prices are $65, $95 and $135.

The Eagles concert seating capacity, following the release of the new seats, now stands at 11,673.

Tickets can be bought at Select-A Seat outlets at United Supermarkets, the ticket booth at Texas Tech Student Union, Ralph’s Records & Tapes, Market Street, Lubbock’s Memorial Civic Center, Dollar Western Wear and Amgio’s Supermarket.

The first appearance by the Eagles at United Spirit Arena on June 28, 2002 sold out as well.

The Eagles are Timothy B. Schmit, Joe Walsh, Don Henley and Glenn Frey.

Over 120 million Eagles albums have sold worldwide.  The band has also won a total of six Grammy Awards.  Their “Greatest Hits 1971-1975″ set is the all-time best selling album.  Over 29 million copies of the set have been sold.  “Greatest Hits, Volume 2″ sold 11 million copies and “Hotel California” sold 16 million copies.

In 1998 the Eagles became members of Rock and Roll’s Hall of Fame.
